The Republican Senate has delayed the vote on their inhumane "health care" bill. No doubt this is due to the pressure of people, especially real action by warriors such as ADAPT. Now is the time to keep the pressure up, and you can help, you can act. Please call your Republican senator today and ask him to vote no on their so-called health care bill (one more money windfall for the very richest). We should be expanding programs such as Medicaid and Medicare, not gutting and vilifying them. Why this endless war on the working and poor? The Republicans have sabotaged the first-step Affordable Care Act from its inception, the way they've steadily sabotaged public education and other vital public programs (not that modern Dems have done much to counteract). Rather than purposefully destruct our most important public endeavors, we need to develop and build. We need to invest in people, empower people. We can enact humane and effective single-payer healthcare for all. We ought not be moving backwards on health, opportunity and access for all people.

More, call your Democrats and urge them to stand for something besides money and military industrialism.

Power's greatest fear is healthy, educated, equal, active and engaged people. It does everything it can to stymie people on each of these fronts.

But you can help. You can act.
